Nebraska is wet, wet, wet. The Central Plains Region has been helping respond to the flooding of the Platte River across the state, flooding of the Missouri River in eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa, flash flooding in Lincoln County, and tornadoes in Buffalo and Sherman County - all part of the same national Disaster Response Operation! So far, 35 volunteers and staff have assisted from the Central Plains, Ft. Kearney, and Mid-Plains chapters.
Want to know how you can assist, too? The American Red Cross is NOT a government agency and is supported entirely by the generosity of the American people.
